5 out of 5 stars Fantastic speakers for the price   September 23, 2008

I bought these speakers for use with my Onkyo system. They sound amazing across all frequencies. Since i live in an apartment, i dont find the need for a sub woofer. These two work fantastic as left and right speakers in my setup. They have ample bass. the Midrange and highrange sounds are fantastic. The only con is they look big. They occupy a small footprint but can be knocked over by kids easily.
Get these speakers, they are unmatched in performance.

3 out of 5 stars husband wanted to kill me   July 27, 2008

The speaker, for the money was a great bargain...in my opinion. My husband was ready to shoot me because he is an audiophile and knew from the specs that there wouldn't be anywhere enough base to care our equipment and for his personal taste. We would have needed to buy the subwoofer that was offered with it. Still a bargain at $150 for the speaker.
Unfortunately, the box came with a huge hole in the side and the paperwork was on the outside of the box. (My husband was afraid of what could have been done to it before we got it.) We returned it without even having the opportunity to give it a listen to possibly keep the piece.

5 out of 5 stars Incredible clarity and silky smooth   May 15, 2008

I bought these a few months ago from Amazon to complete my home theater. I have Infinity Primus 362 fronts, Infinity beta C360 center, Infinity ES 250 bipile/dipoles surrounds and an Infinity SW-12 sub. All this powered by Onkyo TX-SR705 which is an awesome receiver. The 362s and the C360 speakers did take a few hours of playing to break in. The sound that I get from this set up is simply incredible. I looked at polks, JBLs and even B&W and the 362s sound just as good or better than speakes that cost twice as much. Dome tweeters are perfectly balanced and deliver crisp high end frequencies without being harsh, the biggest plus is the midrange which is usually the hardest working speaker. The mids are well defined which makes the dialogues very clear while watching a movie. I can turn the volume way up and they still sound extremely smooth. If you are a audio enthusiast (not an audiophile) you will need a sub to complement the low ends. The only tradeoff is in styling. These speakers won't win any beauty contest but they are not as bad looking as the predecessors (360s). If great sound takes precedence over good looks, go for these, you will not find a better speaker even if you are willing to pay twice the price of these.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent deal for great speakers.....   December 18, 2007
I use these as my middle of the line, home theater speaker installs. Couldn't ask for much more considering the great price.....

5 out of 5 stars Crystal Clear Sound   August 21, 2007

Have a pair of these along with a Infinity PC350 center channel and 4 CS60 surrounds, with an Onkyo SR505 receiver. Movies have never been clearer, watching movies I know by heart I now hear a LOT of new sounds. My previous setup wasn't cheap, just a bit old, and it doesn't even compare.

Music is very nice also. I don't have a powered sub hooked up yet but I am not one for over the top bass anyway. The 362s put out an adequate bass, but certainly nothing overpowering.

All in all, can't be beat for the price point.
