Phoenix Gold's ATo5 5.25-inch speakers are designed for changing weather conditions. A two-way speaker with reinforced polypropylene woofer and a 0.75-inch polycarbonate tweeter, the ATo5 is moisture resistant and lightweight, making it practical for indoor and outdoor use. Speakers come with mounting brackets that attach to flat surfaces, and once you put the speakers in place, you can swivel them in any direction to get the best audio results for your audience. The ATo5 has a power handling of 125 watts and a sensitivity of 89 dB. The tweeters are treated with ferro fluid cooled voice coil for extended highs, and the speakers' frequency response range of 60 Hz to 20 kHz will give you some solid bass. If you need outdoor sound, the ATo5 offers you both quality and value. The ATo5 is packaged in pairs.

 OUTSTANDING speakers! November 27, 2008
These are just amazing speakers for outside applications. Using them in the garage and they are spectacular! The price is phenomenal and they sound way better than they should given the very low cost!
Mount easily and work flawlessly.
HIGHLY recommend these for outdoor applications!

For the money, you simply cannot go wrong with these speakers! I use them outdoors and the sound reproduction is pretty good and they are quite rugged. I would highly recommend them...
Superb bang-for-the-buck October 28, 2008
Excellent product - particularly for the price. Shipped via UPS. Excellent packaging via Amazon double-boxed & insulated. Speaker contacts at rear of speakers are quite robust (metallic cinch-locks); not mentioned in the ad. These are great speakers for under-eaves or in spots protected from direct precipitation. Plastic mounting brackets seem slightly under-engineered but work fine; as long as you're not mounting them facing a heliport, you'll be good to go.

I got these to replacement some old, old speakers on my father's patio. The difference in sound was amazing. They installed easily. They actually blended in with the white, exterior brick. The units that were there were big and bulky. These are small, compact, sleek. My mother and father were blown away that something this inexpensive sounds so nice. The following weekend we actually had a family 4th of July party at their house with about 100 people. Everyone raved about the sound and how compact they were. Buy them.

I purchased these speakers for a backyard barbecue and they were delivered promptly. They sound fine and I don't think you can do any better for the price.
