Made from a rotationally-molded HDPE thermoplastic material, each Rock loudspeaker is weather-resistant and realistically imitates the appearance of granite stone. Inside, the device packs the proven performance of Atlas Sounds rugged FA136 driver and a 32-watt 70.7100V transformer that terminates at a 24-inch pigtail rated for direct-burial. Including conductors for all transformer taps, the pigtail is also equipped with a direct connection to facilitate 8ohm operation. Mounted in a side-firing position, the Rock loudspeakers driver can be precisely aimed according to the needs of its intended area of coverage. A recommended spacing of 30 feet between devices will provide uniform coverage in most applications. Closer spacing andor additional units may be required for environments with high ambient noise levels or where stereo imaging is desired.
