Depends on your expectations December 20, 2008 I guess my sound expectations are greater than the others who reviewed the product. I was expecting much better sound considering the speecifications. The highs and midrange were passable but there was no bottom bass. I hooked them up to my home sound system to check and to my disappointment - Flat. Esthetically they are resonably designed. The construction is white plastic. If you are planning to mount these it looks a little flimsy. Judging from the MSRP I thought the product would be better. Oh well, I will be returning these and continue looking for something better
Good outdoor speakers, but incredible for the price. December 17, 2008 I'm happy with these speakers. They are as loud as you need them to be. The sound balance isn't something that's going to make an audiophile moan in ecstacy but it's fine for having tunes going while you grill a steak. I got these on sale for 30 something. An outdoor waterproof 100 watt speaker that sounds decent for less than [...]? If you are in the market for outdoor speakers, you can't beat this deal.
OUTSTANDING speakers! November 27, 2008 These are just amazing speakers for outside applications. Using them in the garage and they are spectacular! The price is phenomenal and they sound way better than they should given the very low cost!
Mount easily and work flawlessly.
HIGHLY recommend these for outdoor applications!
Great price, great product! November 23, 2008 For the money, you simply cannot go wrong with these speakers! I use them outdoors and the sound reproduction is pretty good and they are quite rugged. I would highly recommend them...
Superb bang-for-the-buck October 28, 2008 Excellent product - particularly for the price. Shipped via UPS. Excellent packaging via Amazon double-boxed & insulated. Speaker contacts at rear of speakers are quite robust (metallic cinch-locks); not mentioned in the ad. These are great speakers for under-eaves or in spots protected from direct precipitation. Plastic mounting brackets seem slightly under-engineered but work fine; as long as you're not mounting them facing a heliport, you'll be good to go.
