Exactly as described... January 6, 2009
These speker mounts are super-sturdy and fairly easy to install - the instructions are a little vague - for anyone that's ever installed speaker mounts before. After a couple of months and some really cold temperatures, they seem to be holding strong and doing their job. I would've given 5 stars but they are kind of a pain to adjust once installed.

This bracket is strong, mounts easily, and is exactly what fits my speakers and has been great. For the money it was much less than a generic bracket or one that might fit. It looks professional and fits the contour of the speakers exactly. Buy these, what more can I say....

Strong and fairly easy to assemble. I had to buy one set of Yamaha indoor/outdoor speakers also because the JBLs were "just six available" and I needed seven. The Yamahas came with everything you need to mount them for just a bit more money. No where near the extra it cost to buy the JBL mounts though.

I purchased a pair of JBL N26II speakers to use primarily outdoors on my deck. After getting a plasma TV, I decided to update the other components of my home theatre system and use them as satellites. So among other things, I bought another pair of 26s to use as surrounds, in addition to the left/right speakers. After researching all of the possibilities, I came to realized that the only way to wall mount these speakers was to use JBLs overpriced brackets. Luckily, I found them reasonably priced on Amazon.com, and ordered two pairs. The mounts themselves are fairly heavy duty, fit the speakers perfectly, and have a cool industrial "look" about them. They are a little tricky to mount but should be no problem if you have some mechanical/carpentry skills, some patience, and a helper. I am not totally happy with them, however, as they are difficult to tighten when positioning the speaker. This results in the speaker itself slipping into a down-facing position, and having to realign them occasionally.
