Phoenix Gold's ATc6 six-inch speakers have a mounting depth of 3.375 inches and go right into your ceiling to combine out-of-the-way convenience with the audio needs of your home or business. A two-way speaker that has a one-inch center-mounted pivoting tweeter for those higher frequencies and a woofer for lower frequencies, the ATc6 offers a frequency response range of 40 Hz to 20 kHz. The speakers are designed to be moisture-resistant, with the woofers constructed of polypropylene and surrounded with Butyl rubber for durability. The paintable grill lets you adjust the speakers' appearance to your decor. The tweeters are treated with ferro fluid cooled voice coil for extended highs. Great Speakers for the Money November 10, 2008
I was looking for speakers in the master suite (bedroom & bathroom) I needed three pairs. I was not looking forward to paying $200/pair plus wall controls for the name brands. Even the BORG wanted $100+/pair for 5 1/4" generics. I got three sets for less than $200 with controls, delivered. I figured if they sounds crummy I'd change them out down the road... They sound great. They aren't audiophile quality, but I certainly don't need that while listening in the shower. Great product, easy to install, highly recommended.

I was looking for relatively inexpensive in-ceiling speakers to play background music in our entrance and kitchen area. After reading several positive reviews I also decided to use these as my two rear surround speakers as well. Installation was easy and I like the ability to aim the tweeters. The speakers are connected directly to a Kenwood receiver and the sound is perfect for what we need. No complaints so far!
